Dora Hall Stockman was an East Lansing, Michigan resident and was actively involved in local affairs. The collection contains a typed transcript of her autobiography, correspondence, publications, and newspaper clippings of the various activities in which she participated.Stockman's primary interest was in the State Grange. Content Description
The Lillie Lauretta Gragg collection contains a pdf of photocopy of the reminiscences of Lillie Lauretta Shaw Gragg. She describes in her childhood and adult life. Also included is a transcription of the reminscences. The reminiscences are available in both digital and phyiscal forms.
The reminiscences appeared in the Sunfield Sentinel from 2018-2019.

The bulk of the correspondence was written by friends and relatives in Michigan and California in the period 1864-1880 to Mary Taylor, later Mrs. Richard Hale, a school teacher residing in Milford, Michigan
In addition to education and the problems of teaching, such topics as the Civil War, the draft, election politics, and farming activities are discussed.
Also included are the courtship letters (1842) of John Taylor of Milford and Jane Wark of New York City.
